MORTIMER SHIELD: The 5/6 girls team travelled to Wagga to represent McAuley in the Mortimer Shield Finals on Tuesday. The girls won the first game 5-0 utilising the speed in the team. They went down 1-0 in the second game, showing awesome defensive skills, finishing 2nd in the pool. They lost the Quarter final 4-0 with a smile on their faces. All the girls played well, supporting each other and reported a fantastic day.

Our boys team all played very well but unfortunately didn't come home with a win on the day. This was not due to lack of trying though, as all boys played tough, with great sportsmanship and really represented our School to a high level.   

Thank you to the parents that got the teams there and back safely.

MACKILLOP TRIALS - RUGBY UNION: A big couple of days in Forbes this week for Union trials. While not selected for further representation, Sid Roche, Jack Corbett and Brad Beavan all enjoyed the big stage arena, all played exceptionally and all learnt so much. A special mention to Sid who was voted 'Players Player' of the Arch team and won a signed ACT Brumbies jersey.

What a honour for the boys to represent at this level!
