SORRY DAY & RECONCILIATION WEEK
Aboriginal Performance on Sorry day, 26th May
The topic for the performance was 'Bridge the Gap'. The Bridge the Gap program is very popular amongst schools as it is delivered positively and professionally which includes audience participation. Throughout this program, Maluerindi discusses the traditional way of life as well as performing traditional dances and demonstrating the many sounds of the didgeridoo.
Maluerindi talked of the history of their people and the traditional way of life and also about the Indigenous people of today and the challenges of adapting to mainstream living.
