Last week some of our Year 7, 8 and 9 girls travelled to Wagga to compete in the Gala Day. Both teams finished second in their pool and had an awesome day both on and off the field, demonstrating great sportsmanship and teamwork. The girls were also playing for a cause, they all wore a grey ribbon in their hair to raise money and awareness for Brain Cancer. They raised $275.00 on the day! What an awesome bunch of students we have at McAuley! Well done girls. Thanks to Mrs. Hood and Mrs. Stewart who accompanied the girls on the day.
