On Tuesday, 4/04/23, Year 1 were involved in a Dinosaur Dig where they were to be like palaeontologists and dig up skeletons/fossils in the primary school sandpit to study the structure of dinosaurs. The dinosaurs were hidden in the sandpit by some year 4 students - great thank you for their efforts. 

The Year 1 students enjoyed discovering the skeletons that were set in plaster of paris to give a fossil image. Photos were taken so that Year 1 students can paste an image of their dig in their science writing activity about the Dinosaur Dig during class.
