STATE CHAMPIONS
Our Under 14 Boys travelled to Wagga today to play in the State Final of the Small Schools Rugby League Competition against Parkes Christian College. The boys qualified for the final after winning their previous 5 games.
In a fast and free flowing game, our boys played excellent football and displayed great teamwork to run out winners 40 points to 6.
Try scorers for McAuley were: Beau Rossiter and Jake Bower (2tries each), Hunter Watts, Archie Webb, Jeht Buttenshaw and Ryan Beavan all scoring a try. Beau Rossiter and Aidan Turnbull kicked 2 goals each.
Aidan Turnbull was voted player of the match by the NRL officials.
It was great to have all of the parent and family support there today - the boys really appreciated it.
