Year 10 and 11 students who are interested in working in the health care industry, including nursing and aged care have been attending TAFE for the last five weeks. Students learnt basic skills such as taking vital signs, eg: temperature, pulse respiration and a range of health care skills, eg: manual handling using a patient lifter, exercise, physio and occupational therapy.
