McAuley Library hosted award-winning Pip Harry, Author, on 5 June as part of her local school tour. We were grateful for the opportunity for our primary students to learn about her books, her writing processes and her journey as a children's and young adult author. We were lucky to hear a sneak peek from Pip's new picture book, which will be on shelves later this year. The students were extremely engaged and excited to talk to Pip about their bucket list (something Pip thinks everyone should have). Year 11 and 12 students received an insight into creative writing and participated in an invaluable writing workshop. Thank you for visiting us Pip, MCC Tumut loves your books, and we were grateful to spend time with you with many of our students gaining creative writing inspiration.
