This term, Year 5/6 are reading the novel 'Once' by Morris Gleitzman which is set in Poland.  They have been discussing origins and heritage within their families and have discovered Alex of 5/6 Blue has Polish heritage. Alex shared her family heirloom of a traditional Polish folk costume that features a delicate linear bead embroidery with chain stitch applications.
