Every year, the Primary Campus enters the 'Best Dressed Pumpkin' competition at the Tumut Show. Each class gets a pumpkin to get creative and decorate! 

Here are some pictures of Patrisha, Juno and Alfie painting the Year 2 pumpkin. Students were very excited as they designed an Indigenous painting for the pumpkin. Patrisha was so kind and brought with her some resources to show us some design and symbols we could use. They used some symbols that we thought were relevant to Tumut and McAuley. There is a river, stars and people sitting together with a range of dot designs.

All of the children were proud of their design. It's not easy painting a pumpkin either!

The day before the show, we took our pumpkins down and set up a display of them together with some artworks we've been creating. 

And the winner is.... 5/6 White and Mrs Brown!

Their popcorn pumpkin took out the top prize at the Tumut Show last weekend with runner up being Pikachu and Mrs Piper's Year 1 class. Ms Place and the library were also given a commendation for their Bluey pumpkin. Thanks to all the teachers and classes for their entries and students for their fabulous artistic works.
