MACKILLOP HOUSE SPIRIT DAY
On Wednesday McAuley came together to celebrate MacKillop House Spirit Day—a vibrant display of house pride with a deeper purpose.
Throughout Term 1, we have been focusing on the theme of Human Dignity, drawing inspiration from Neil Danaher, whose unwavering fight against Motor Neurone Disease (MND) has raised awareness and funds through FightMND and the Big Freeze campaign. His courage and determination serve as a powerful reminder of the strength found in compassion and community.
Students and staff embraced the spirit of the day, proudly wearing blue and contributing gold coin donations to support FightMND. On the primary campus, excitement filled the air as students and teachers took part in a spirited fashion parade, with awards given to those who best embodied the day's energy and enthusiasm.
Adding to the festivities, students enjoyed Zooper Doopers and ice cream cones at recess and lunch, bringing smiles all around.
Congratulations to everyone for making this such a memorable and meaningful day—we are truly a proud McAuley community!
