The historic Chauvel Border Lighthorse Trail traverses the NSW-Victorian border from Shepparton in the south, snaking up through the Riverina and South West Slopes before turning south again through the Snowy Mountains high country, coursing back over the border into Victoria.

Leading this ambitious endeavour is Coolamon farmer, Pat Leary, a seasoned horseman with a deep personal connection to the history of the Australian Lighthorse. They will finish their 750km journey in Tallangatta on 17 April.
