Our Girls Rugby 7s squad put in a stellar performance at the Gala Day, finishing the tournament undefeated and bringing home the shield! They kicked off with a commanding 12–0 victory over Wagga Wagga Christian College, demonstrating strong defence and slick handling right from the whistle. In their second match they maintained the momentum with a 17–5 win against Murrumburrah, before edging out Temora 17–12 in a thrilling semi-final that saw some brilliant try-saving tackles and smart support play.

That set the stage for an all-or-nothing Grand Final against Young, where our girls dug deep and sealed a hard-fought 15–10 triumph. Throughout the day they showed exceptional grit, teamwork and sportsmanship, and their confidence grew with each match. Congratulations to every player and coaches for this fantastic achievement – your dedication and McAuley spirit have made us all incredibly proud!
