Year 10 Students Gain Valuable Insights Through Work Experience
At McAuley Catholic College, we believe in preparing our students for life beyond the classroom. This week, 33 of our Year 10 students took an important step toward their future careers by participating in a week-long Work Experience program.
The program gave students the opportunity to explore a wide range of industries and gain real-world experience across various local businesses and services. From healthcare to early childhood education, and trades to veterinary care, our students were welcomed into workplaces where they could observe, learn, and contribute meaningfully.

These experiences allowed students to develop valuable skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, and adaptability, while also gaining a clearer sense of their future career paths.
