- PARENT ENGAGEMENT SURVEY
Dear Parents
Today a Parent Engagement Survey was sent out to parents through Schoolzine and also in todays Newsletter with a link attached. If you are willing to complete the short survey, please return it to the school by Monday 24th June. The purpose of the survey is to capture ideas for innovation from the parent cohort.
Currently the teachers are engaged in marking Semester examinations and writing student reports. The K- 6 end of Semester Reports will go home Thursday 27th and 7 - 10 on Friday 28th June. The Secondary Parent Teacher interviews take place in the Hall on Wednesday 3rd July. The following day the End of Term Assembly takes place in the Hall at 2.00pm.
If you are aware of any families, who are interested in McAuley for Year 7 in 2020, their Orientation Day is Friday 21st June. Students should wear the Sports Uniform of their current school and be on the Secondary Campus by 9.00am.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting St Mary’s Batlow and St Joseph’s Adelong to meet their Year 6 students. Two fine groups of students who were very excited about the prospect of attending secondary school. They were eager for answers to many questions about the operations of High School, different subjects, multiple teachers, uniform, buses, student timetables, the Canteen and the list goes on. They were polite and articulate and a credit to their schools, thank you to Mrs Richards and Mrs Beavan for their hospitality.
Please only use the BPAY option for making payments to pay school fees only.
Any payment that you make using BPAY will automatically go to your school fee payments, not any excursion or sporting event. To pay for excursions or sporting events online, you may only pay direct deposit or via the Qkr!app.
Thank you.
At McAuley we aim to continually provide your children with unique opportunities with varied educational experiences, sporting opportunities and excursions.
Please support us by making every attempt to keep up to date with excursion payments and fees. Please communicate with the office ladies who can assist with a personal payment plan which can suit your individual family budget.
A reminder that all school fees are due to be paid by this Friday.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.

Students should make their own way to school, with the day commencing at 9am. Students are asked to wear their current sports uniform with appropriate sports shoes. Please ensure you have your school hat also. Canteen will be operational on the day.
A letter with more information has been given to the students.
It was Year 7's turn to visit our Blakeney friends this week. Students and residents enjoyed the interaction, with chatting and hand manicures the order of the day.
Yr 3/4V SCIENCE - RECYCLED CARS
An enjoyable and interesting, hands-on lesson Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths this week, when the children engineered and experimented by making their own recycled cars.
The student's efforts were outstanding - with Max Niikkula's car coming home 1st followed by Archie Webb's car coming a close 2nd.
See the school's facebook page for more great photos!
LEAGUE TAG - MORTIMER SHIELD - ROUND 2
On Tuesday 11th June, our Primary girls team travelled to Parramore Park in Wagga to play in the Mortimer Shield Final competition after sucessfully winning the Tumut Mortimer Shield League Tag competition. The girls played three games, in which they lost, won and drew. A great day of teamwork and sportsmanship. Well done girls!
All students from Kindergarten to Year 10 were treated to a most entertaining and funny performance 'Didjeribone Aboriginal Music Show' last week - a didjeridoo combined with a trombone.
From traditional to contemporary - this show really did have it all!
Please see go to the link below for the 2019 Parent Engagement Survey. If you are willing to partake in the short survey, please complete by Monday 24th June.
