Dear Parents, Carers and Friends,
As you would be well aware, the last day of Term 2 is Friday 5th July. Classes resume for all classes on Tuesday 23rd July.
We pray, safe travels for all those going away during the break. May the road rise up to meet you and may the wind always be at your back. And may God hold you in the palm of His hands.
For those staying home, take the time and space you need – even if other people are wanting something from you. When you have work to do and you don’t want to do it, decide what really needs to be done and what can wait.
May those traveling and those deciding what can wait enjoy restful quality family time.
Kind regards to you all.
Rod Little.

Great pics of our Year 7's enjoying a Technology lesson this week.
Technology involves learning about a wide range of technologies through proctical experience in design, constructing, evaluation, using computers, marketing and managing. Students are continuing to learn how to plan projects step by step.
YEAR 5/6 HITLER'S DAUGHTER PERFORMANCE
Parents should have received a note regarding the excursion to Wagga Civic Theatre on Tuesday 30th July for the "Hitler's Daughter" performance. (Based on the award winning Jackie French novel) The bus will depart at 9:30am and will return at approximately 3:50pm.
Please ensure permission note and payment of $28-00 are returned and paid by Day 1, Term 3. Payments can be made via cash or the QKR! app.
PRIMARY CAMPUS HATS INFORMATION
Swans Clothing Company has advised us that the red, navy and white school cap has been discontinued. They have been unsuccessful in obtaining a replacement. There will still be 2 choices of school hat, the bucket style and the plain navy with McAuley embroidery. Swans have ordered a supply of both hats which will be available shortly.
We also advise, Kindergarten to Year 6 students are not required to wear their hats during the months of July and August. UV levels are lower, so it's time to get some sun for vitamin D. Vitamin D is essential for healthy bones, muscles and general wellbeing. This decision will be reassessed if the weather warms up considerably in Term 3.
For more information visit sunsmart.com.au or call 13 11 20.
You will be aware the Year 5/6 excursion to Canberra will be held from 21st to 23rd October.
Parents are reminded of the need to keep up to date with payments. You should have paid $200 in instalments - with a further $100 due by 30th August. Pay via cash, cheque or our QKR! app.
Thank you for your support.
A SAFE & HAPPY LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

DEACON - GENEROUS SPIRIT OF SERVICE
A special mention in our newsletter this week to Year 3/4G's Deacon McPherson. Deacon made a unique money box to donate to St Vinnies for families less fortunate than his own. What a wonderful example to others! Thank you for your generosity Deacon - your money will be most appreciated this winter.
